About us

Seldom is anything written about Meopham without reference to the "famous old cricket club and lovely village green on which cricket has been played for centuries".

With its long history dating from 1776, the official foundation date of the Club, cricket on Meopham Village Green has remained a prominent feature of the village.

The club fields two adult sides on a Saturday, competing in the Kent County Village League Division 1 (1st XI) and Division 5 (2nd XI) and field one friendly XI on a Sunday.

The club has a thriving junior section, from age groups Under 9 to Under 16, this supported by a number of ECB qualified coaches.
